Use cases

Helpdesk for agencies: one Xupport workspace per client, or tags

Xupport has no departments. Use one workspace per client, or tags in one desk. The same Google account can register more than one workspace.

One queue. Separate workspaces if each client must be isolated.

What the product actually supports

Each workspace has its own tickets, articles, widget key, members, and billing. PostgreSQL row-level security keeps organizations apart. That is how you isolate client A from client B if they must not share a queue: two workspaces, two bills.

If isolation is not required, one workspace with tags (client name) is enough. There is no department model and no child-accounts feature.

Setup

For each isolated client: create a workspace, paste their widget, publish their articles, invite their people or yours. Growth if that client needs Slack. Starter if they need chat, email, help, and form only.

Which plan

Each workspace has its own plan. Starter is US$49/mo. This is not a multi-brand discount SKU.
